Detective Brynlee is small and brave. Brynlee wears a shiny badge and carries a little magnifying glass. Brynlee loves art. One sunny day Brynlee visits the Magical Art Gallery. The walls are bright. Paintings move. Colors dance across frames. Brynlee smiles with delight.
Flower is Brynlee’s friend. Flower is a tiny talking bloom with rosy petals. Flower lives near a painting of a bright sun. Flower loves to whisper clues in a gentle voice. Flower laughs softly when Brynlee finds a hint. Together they make a good team.
But trouble is near. A quiet Spellcaster hides in the gallery. Spellcaster takes a red painting full of bright dots. The painting glows softly. Brynlee cannot find it. Brynlee feels curious and a bit worried.
Brynlee holds the magnifying glass close. Brynlee and Flower step softly. They look at each painting. One painting of green grass shows a small key under a blue frame. Brynlee picks up the tiny key.
Flower gasps happy. Flower says, “This key opens a secret door!” Brynlee nods and walks to a hidden wooden door behind a green painting. Brynlee turns the key. The door clicks and opens very slow.
Inside the secret room is a small box on a pedestal. The box has a magic lock. Brynlee uses the key. Click! The box pops open. Inside is the glowing red painting. Brynlee lifts it with care.
Just then Spellcaster appears. Spellcaster frowns and waves a little wand. “Give it back,” Spellcaster mumbles. Brynlee stands tall. Brynlee shows the badge and says, “I am Detective Brynlee.” Brynlee offers Spellcaster a cup of warm tea.
Spellcaster looks surprised. Spellcaster sips the tea. The tea smells sweet like honey. Spellcaster’s frown turns into a smile. Spellcaster says softly, “I only borrowed the painting. I wanted to see its bright dots.”
Brynlee nods kindly. Brynlee says, “Next time please ask first. Art is for everyone.” Spellcaster agrees and waves the wand gently. The gallery fills with soft music and color.
Brynlee and Flower return the red painting to its place. It glows happily on the wall. The paintings nod and wave. Brynlee is happy. Flower dances with joy.
At the end Brynlee receives a shiny star sticker for the detective badge. Flower glows warmly. Spellcaster offers to show Brynlee more secret rooms next time. Brynlee feels proud and calm.
The gallery sings a soft bedtime lullaby. Brynlee holds Flower’s hand. The day ends with bright stars in the sky. Brynlee learned to ask and to share. Everyone is happy and safe. The end.
