Dada and Jungle Guide find stolen bread, befriend a hungry wolf, and bring kindness and joy back to the village.
Dada the Kind Superhero

In a small village by a green hill lived a kind superhero named Dada. Dada wore a bright red cape and soft boots. He had gentle eyes. He could fly and shine a soft light from his hands. Every morning he walked through the village. He greeted the children. He waved to the birds. He felt happy to help. The village had small houses. The doors were blue and yellow. The sun was warm. People smiled. Dada smiled back. He liked the sun. He liked the green grass. He loved to help.

One day a big gray wolf came to the village. The wolf was hungry and lonely. His paws were tired. His eyes were sad. He smelled the warm bread in the pantry. He smelled the pies on the windowsill. He wanted to eat. He went inside very quietly when no one saw. He found a basket of fresh bread and took it away.

When the villagers saw the empty pantry they felt sad and worried. They looked for help. Dada heard their cries. He felt their worry. Dada said, I will help you find the bread. Dada called his friend Jungle Guide. Jungle Guide was a friendly monkey. She wore a green leaf hat. She had bright eyes and a long tail. She loved to swing and chatter happily.

Dada and Jungle Guide left the village. They walked into a tall forest. The trees were big and full of leaves. The wind made a soft song. Birds chirped above. Dada held Jungle Guide’s hand. Jungle Guide pointed to small paw prints on the ground. They followed the prints. They walked past a blue river. They walked past smooth stones. They walked over soft green grass.

The paw prints led them to a dark cave at the foot of a hill. The cave was quiet. Dada glowed a soft light with his hands. The light lit the cave walls. They saw the basket of bread near a sleeping wolf. The wolf snored softly. The basket lay close to the wolf’s paws. Dada spoke softly to Jungle Guide, Let us share the bread with all.

Dada tiptoed to the basket. Jungle Guide tiptoed too. Dada picked up the basket. Jungle Guide held a banana from her bag. Dada said, Here is bread for the village and here is a banana for you. The wolf woke. He sniffed the air. He saw Dada and Jungle Guide. He sat up and looked kindly.

The wolf’s tail wagged. He smelled the banana. He smelled the bread. His eyes grew warm. The wolf smiled. He said, Thank you. He shared the bread with Dada and Jungle Guide. They sat together. They ate sweet soft bread. They ate the ripe banana. They laughed. They felt happy. They were all friends now.

Dada and Jungle Guide and the wolf walked back to the village. The villagers saw them and cheered. They clapped and smiled. They shared the bread with the wolf. They gave Dada and Jungle Guide big hugs. They even gave the wolf a soft blanket to rest on. They gave Dada and Jungle Guide a golden star medal for kindness.

At night Dada placed the golden star on his shelf. Jungle Guide slept in a cozy leaf bed. The wolf slept in a quiet corner. The village glowed under the moon. Everyone felt safe and warm. Dada closed his eyes and dreamed of more adventures to help friends. The end.
