Dolly-storm is a little girl in the Enchanted Forest with her friend Teddy Bear. They walk on a soft green path under tall, happy trees. Dolly-storm holds Teddy Bear close. They laugh together.
They find bright flowers by a tiny brook. Dolly-storm bends over. She smells a pink blossom. Teddy Bear sniffs too. They giggle. The brook sings a gentle song. Dolly-storm jumps over a smooth stone. Teddy Bear waves his paw.
Dolly-storm and Teddy Bear play hide and seek behind tall mushrooms. Dolly-storm peeks. Teddy Bear hides behind a red mushroom. Dolly-storm counts to three. She says, “One, two, three!” She finds Teddy Bear and gives him a big hug.
They keep walking. They see a shiny pebble on the ground. Dolly-storm picks it up. It sparkles in her hand. She shows it to Teddy Bear. Teddy Bear claps his paws. Dolly-storm puts the pebble in her little pocket.
They hop over a small log. They find another pebble. They collect shiny pebbles in a line. Dolly-storm makes a circle of pebbles on the ground. Teddy Bear helps. They sit inside the circle and clap. They feel happy.
They hear a soft rustle. A tiny bunny hops by. Dolly-storm waves. Teddy Bear waves. The bunny thumps its foot. Dolly-storm smiles. She whispers, “Hello, bunny.” Teddy Bear whispers too. The bunny hops away into the grass.
Dolly-storm and Teddy Bear reach a tiny pond. They sit at the edge. Dolly-storm dips her toes in the cool water. Teddy Bear dips his paw. They say, “Splash!” They laugh and splash the water softly.
They see a little frog on a lily pad. Dolly-storm says, “Ribbit!” Teddy Bear says, “Ribbit!” The frog croaks back. Dolly-storm giggles. They watch the frog jump into the pond with a small splash.
The sun begins to set. Dolly-storm and Teddy Bear know it is time to go home. They gather their shiny pebbles. Dolly-storm tucks them in a small bag. She holds Teddy Bear tight.
They walk back along the green path. The trees say good night with soft rustling leaves. Dolly-storm yawns. Teddy Bear yawns too. They reach their little door in a mossy log. Dolly-storm steps inside and closes the door gently.
Dolly-storm puts Teddy Bear on her soft bed. She takes out the shiny pebbles and places them in a circle by her pillow. The pebbles sparkle like tiny stars.
Dolly-storm whispers, “We did it, Teddy Bear. We found shiny pebbles and we had fun.” Teddy Bear whispers back, “Yes, Dolly-storm. I love our adventure.”
Dolly-storm pulls up her blanket. Teddy Bear snuggles in beside her. They close their eyes. The Enchanted Forest sings them a lullaby with the wind. Dolly-storm and Teddy Bear sleep soundly, dreaming of bright flowers, playful bunnies, and shiny pebbles. Sweet dreams fill their night.
