Enzo is a little Superhero. He is small, but brave. He wears a soft cape. It swishes: “whoosh, whoosh.”
Enzo lives near the Spirit Garden. The garden is quiet. The trees hum. The flowers glow like tiny night-lights.
One morning, Enzo looks around. “Uh-oh,” he says. “The garden colors are gone.”
The leaves look gray. The petals look pale.
Enzo feels a tiny worry in his tummy. Then he takes a slow breath. “I can help,” he whispers.
He meets three friends on the path.
Inventor is there. Inventor has big round goggles and a kind smile. Inventor carries a small box of tools.
Genie floats nearby, like a soft cloud. Genie’s voice is gentle: “Hello, Enzo.”
Illusionist steps out from behind a bush. Illusionist is playful and quick. “Peek-a-boo!”
Enzo points. “We must restore colors.”
Inventor nods. “We can build.”
Genie nods. “We can wish, but carefully.”
Illusionist giggles. “We can trick the gloom.”
They walk into the Spirit Garden. The air smells like mint and rain.
At the pond, a big shadow falls.
A Giant sits there.
The Giant is huge. His shoulders touch the vines. He looks tired, not mean.
In his hand is a sack. It is stuffed.
Enzo stands tall. “Hello, Giant. Why is the garden gray?”
The Giant sniffles. “I… I collected the colors. They were too bright. They tickled my eyes.”
Enzo feels empathy. “Bright can feel too much,” he says.
Inventor whispers, “But the garden needs them.”
Illusionist twirls. “I can make soft lights, not sharp.”
Genie says, “And I can make a calm breeze.”
Enzo steps closer. “Giant, can we share? Small colors, gentle colors.”
The Giant looks at Enzo’s tiny cape. “You are not scared?”
Enzo shakes his head. “I am a little scared. But I am still here.”
The Giant thinks. “Maybe… if the colors are in a safe place.”
Inventor opens the tool box. “I will make Color Bells!”
Inventor clicks and clacks. Ding-ding. Little round bells appear, like shiny toys.
Genie blows a soft “whooo.” The breeze wraps the bells like pillows.
Illusionist waves hands. “Now, the bells will glow softly, like bedtime lights.”
Enzo smiles. “Giant, put the colors inside the bells.”
The Giant slowly opens his sack.
Swish!
Red like apples.
Blue like sky.
Yellow like warm sun.
Green like fresh peas.
The colors slide into the bells.
Ding… ding…
The garden wakes up.
Flowers blush.
Leaves shine.
The pond sparkles.
The Giant blinks. “It does not hurt,” he says. “It is soft.”
Enzo says, “We did it together.”
The Giant reaches into his pocket. “For you.”
He gives Enzo a tiny treasure: a Rainbow Pebble. It is smooth. It glows in four cozy colors.
Enzo holds it. “Wow.”
Inventor claps. Genie hums. Illusionist bows.
Enzo waves to the Giant. “If it feels too bright, tell us. We can make it gentle.”
The Giant smiles, small but real.
Enzo walks home with the Rainbow Pebble in his hand. The Spirit Garden behind him is bright again, and calm.
