Señor sol was a girl. She was small, shy, and very brave inside.
One warm day, she walked to a Desert Pyramid. The sand was soft. The stones were tall.
She held her Teddy Bear tight. “Hi, Bear,” she whispered.
Teddy Bear was fluffy and loyal. He nodded. “I am here.”
Near the big door stood a Princess. The Princess wore a bright scarf. She was kind and calm.
A Musician sat by the steps. He had a tiny drum and a little flute. He was silly and friendly.
Tap-tap. Toot-toot.
“Welcome!” said the Princess.
But then—clank, clank—came the Sun Knight.
His armor shone like hot gold. He looked serious.
“No music! No fun! The treasure room stays closed!” he boomed.
Señor sol blinked. Her brave heart went thump.
She asked softly, “Why?”
The Sun Knight pointed to three dark torches on the wall. “The sacred torches are out. Without light, no one goes in.”
The Princess sighed. “We need light.”
The Musician hummed. “Maybe my song can help!”
Señor sol looked at her Teddy Bear. “Let’s try together.”
They stepped inside the pyramid. It was cool and echo-y.
Drip… drip… went water far away.
“Hello?” called the Musician.
The walls whispered back, “Hello… hello…”
Teddy Bear squeezed Señor sol’s hand. “Slow steps.”
They found the first torch. It was tall and dusty.
Señor sol blew gently. Pooof! Dust flew.
The Princess clapped. “Good cleaning!”
The Musician played a soft beat. Tap… tap…
The torch sparkled a little.
But it still would not light.
Señor sol saw a small stone bowl. Inside were dry sticks.
“Sticks!” she said. “We need a spark.”
The Sun Knight appeared at the doorway. “Hmph. You are tiny. You cannot.”
Señor sol felt shy. Then she stood taller.
“I can,” she said.
Teddy Bear nodded hard. “She can!”
The Musician tooted one brave note. “Tooooot!”
The Princess smiled. “We believe you.”
Señor sol rubbed two smooth stones. Rub-rub. Rub-rub.
A tiny spark jumped. Pop!
The first torch lit. Whoosh! Warm light.
The Sun Knight blinked. “Oh.”
They walked to the second torch. A gust of sand blew in.
“Achoo!” said Teddy Bear.
Señor sol giggled. “Bless you.”
The Princess used her scarf to block the sand. “Shield!”
The Musician played faster. Tap-tap-tap!
Señor sol made another spark. Pop!
Whoosh! The second torch lit.
Now the hallway glowed.
They reached the third torch. A stone puzzle blocked it.
Three shapes: a circle, a star, and a heart.
Señor sol touched her chest. “Heart.”
She placed the heart stone. Click!
Teddy Bear rolled the circle stone. Click!
The Princess set the star stone. Click!
The puzzle opened. The third torch waited.
Señor sol made one more spark. Pop!
Whoosh! The third torch lit, bright and happy.
The pyramid door rumbled open. Rrrrmmm.
The Sun Knight bowed. “I was wrong. You are brave. You work as a team.”
Inside the treasure room sat a small chest.
The Princess opened it. Creak!
Gold stickers! Shiny beads! And a tiny sun-shaped bell.
The Musician rang it. Ding-ding!
The sound was sweet.
The Sun Knight smiled, not scary now. “This bell is yours, Señor sol. It is a light bell.”
Señor sol held it up. Ding!
A warm glow danced on the walls.
She hugged Teddy Bear. “We did it.”
They all danced in the Desert Pyramid.
Tap-tap. Toot-toot. Ding-ding.
And the torches stayed bright, all night, for friends.
