Loki is a Time Traveler. He is small and brave. He wears a tiny coat with shiny buttons.
Loki stands in the Divination Chamber. The room is round. The air smells like warm tea. A big bowl of water sits in the middle. The water softly glows.
“Hello,” says Seer. Seer is a quiet helper with kind eyes. Seer listens a lot. Seer points to the glowing bowl.
In the bowl, a picture appears. It shows a door made of time. It is closed.
Loki blinks. “Door stuck.”
Seer nods. “We find the Chamber Key.”
Loki pats his pockets. No key. He looks under a chair. No key.
A crystal voice booms, “NO KEY FOR YOU!”
It is the Crystal Guardian. It is tall and sparkly. It stands near a wall of crystals. The crystals tinkle like tiny bells.
Loki feels a little scared. His knees wiggle.
Seer whispers, “Slow breath. One, two.”
Loki breathes. “One… two.” He feels steady.
Loki takes out his time tool. It looks like a little clock on a string. “Tick… tock,” he says.
He tries a small jump in time. Just a tiny jump. Not far.
Whoosh.
Now Loki sees the room one minute ago. A soft clink! Something falls behind a pillow.
Loki jumps back to now. “I saw it!”
He crawls. He lifts the pillow.
There is the Chamber Key. It is small. It is warm. It has a star shape.
The Crystal Guardian steps forward. “STOP!”
Loki holds the key close. “Please. We only open door. No mess.”
Seer stands beside Loki. “We will be gentle,” Seer says.
The Crystal Guardian pauses. Its sparkle turns calmer. “Gentle?” it asks.
Loki nods hard. “Gentle.”
Loki puts the key into the time door. Click.
The door opens. Inside is a tiny hallway of light. The light makes soft rainbow dots on the floor.
The Crystal Guardian watches, then sighs. “I guard. I worry,” it says.
Loki smiles. “You can watch with us.”
Together they step into the light. At the end is a treasure box, right on the floor.
Loki opens it.
Inside are three things: a new little hourglass, a silver sticker star, and a crunchy cookie.
Seer laughs a small laugh. “Cookie treasure.”
The Crystal Guardian chuckles too, like tinkling ice. “Good treasure,” it says.
Loki takes the hourglass. The sand glitters. “New skill,” Loki says. “I can do tiny jumps safe.”
He gives Seer the sticker star. He breaks the cookie in three.
They sit in the Divination Chamber. They crunch and smile.
The crystals on the wall glow softly, like they are happy.
Loki whispers, “Tick… tock. Friends.”
