Loki was a little Treasure Hunter. He was small, but brave. He wore a tiny hat and carried a soft map. Today he walked into the Enchanted Forest.
The trees whispered, “Hush… hello.”
Loki whispered back, “Hello, trees.”
A gentle sound went plink-plink. A Musician sat on a mossy log. The Musician played a shiny flute.
“Hi,” said Loki.
“Hi,” said the Musician. “I play songs. You hunt treasures.”
Loki nodded. “I want to find a treasure.”
The Musician smiled. “Let’s look together. Teamwork!”
Loki clapped. “Together!”
They followed the map. Step-step. The path curled like a ribbon. Blue butterflies floated by.
Suddenly the map wiggled.
Loki blinked. “Map is silly!”
The Musician giggled. “Maybe it wants music.”
The Musician played a slow tune: laaa… laaa…
The map stopped wiggling. It pointed to a big stump.
At the stump there was a little door. A very little door.
Loki knelt. “Door!”
The door had no handle. Only three round bumps.
Loki touched one bump. Nothing.
The Musician touched one bump. Nothing.
Loki said, “Try music?”
The Musician played: toot-toot-toot.
The bumps glowed, one by one, like tiny stars.
Click.
The door opened.
Inside was a short tunnel. It smelled like warm cookies.
Loki crawled. The Musician crawled too, still holding the flute.
In the tunnel, acorns rolled. Plop. Plop.
Loki laughed. “Acorns are balls!”
The Musician laughed. “Careful, rolling balls!”
They reached a small cave room. In the middle sat a wooden chest. It had a leaf on top.
Loki whispered, “Treasure.”
The Musician whispered, “Let’s be gentle.”
Loki lifted the leaf.
The chest did not open.
Loki tried again. “Hmm.”
The Musician played a tiny happy song: ping-ping-ping!
The chest gave a soft hum, like it liked the song.
Loki said, “One more!”
The Musician played: ping-ping-PING!
Click!
The chest opened.
Inside were bright coins, not heavy, just pretty. And a little crown made of golden twigs. And a red ribbon that shimmered.
Loki’s eyes went wide. “Mine?”
The Musician said, “Ours. We found it together.”
Loki held up the twig crown. “I am Treasure Hunter Loki!”
The Musician bowed. “And I am your Musician.”
Loki put the ribbon on the flute. The flute sparkled.
The Musician played, and the cave lights danced.
Outside, the Enchanted Forest seemed to smile. The trees swayed. The butterflies spun.
Loki put the coins in his little pouch. He kept one coin in his hand. “A shiny one for you,” he said.
The Musician took it. “Thank you, friend.”
They walked home, step-step, with music and treasure. Loki felt brave and happy. And the map stayed still, like it was proud too.
