Princess Anna the beautiful and the Sleeping Colors

Kids stories

In Ether Forest, Princess Anna the beautiful finds the colors are gone. With Oracle, Phoenix, and Fox, she faces the Sorceress and learns a gentle rainbow magic—then wins a crystal-leaf crown.
Princess Anna the beautiful and the Sleeping Colors

Princess Anna the beautiful was a little Fairy. She lived in Ether Forest.

Ether Forest was soft and green. The air smelled like mint. Tiny lights blinked in the leaves.

Princess Anna the beautiful had small wings. They shimmered. She was kind. She was a bit shy, too.

One morning, the forest looked dull.
“Where are the colors?” Princess Anna the beautiful whispered.

A tall Oracle sat by a quiet stone.
The Oracle spoke slowly. “The colors are sleeping. A Sorceress hid them in a gray jar.”

Princess Anna the beautiful gulped.
“I want to help,” she said.

A Phoenix landed with a warm flutter.
“I can glow,” said Phoenix. “I will light the way.”

A Fox popped from behind a fern.
“I am quick,” said Fox. “I can sniff the jar.”

They walked under big trees. Drip, drip went the dew.
The Sorceress watched from a dark stump. She had a sharp hat and sharp eyes.

“Go away,” the Sorceress hissed. “No colors for you.”

Princess Anna the beautiful felt a wobble in her tummy.
But she remembered her gentle magic.
She put a hand on her heart.
“I will be brave,” she said.

Oracle called out, “Ask nicely. Use a calm voice.”

Princess Anna the beautiful floated forward.
“Please,” she said. “Ether Forest needs its colors. Birds need bright berries. Flowers need happy petals.”

The Sorceress frowned.
“No,” she said. “Colors make noise in my head.”

Phoenix made a cozy circle of light, not too bright.
Fox sat down and wagged his tail, very silly.
Oracle nodded. “We can share. Small colors. Soft colors.”

Princess Anna the beautiful smiled.
“We can make colors quiet,” she said. “Like bedtime colors.”

The Sorceress blinked.
“Bedtime colors?” she muttered.

Fox sniffed the air.
“I smell the jar,” he said. “It is under the roots.”

Phoenix warmed the ground.
Not hot. Just warm.
The roots loosened. A gray jar went clink.

Princess Anna the beautiful held the jar.
It felt cold.
She tried a new fairy skill: a tiny rainbow breath.
“Shh… gentle glow,” she whispered.

The jar lid popped.
Whoosh! Out flew green, blue, red, and gold.
They did not shout. They hummed, soft and sweet.

Ether Forest woke up.
Leaves turned bright. Mushrooms got polka dots. A stream sparkled.

The Sorceress covered her ears… then slowly peeked.
“It is not loud,” she said.
“It is… nice.”

Princess Anna the beautiful gave her a small blue ribbon of color.
“Here,” she said. “A calm color for you.”

The Sorceress softened.
“Thank you,” she said, very quiet.

Oracle smiled. “You used empathy.”
Phoenix chirped. “And brave wings.”
Fox bounced. “And my nose!”

A surprise waited in the grass.
The colors shaped a treasure: a tiny crown made of crystal leaves.
It fit Princess Anna the beautiful perfectly.

She giggled.
“My new crown!”

They danced in Ether Forest.
Even the Sorceress smiled a little.
And every day after, Princess Anna the beautiful practiced her rainbow breath, making the forest bright and calm.
